B licence — Car driving

The B licence can be obtained from age 18 with a theory test (if A1 has not been obtained) and a practical test.

Vehicles you may drive with a B licence

  • Cars up to 3500 kg, up to 8 passengers plus driver, with a light trailer (up to 750 kg), total weight not exceeding 3500 kg
  • Light motorcycles (up to 125 cc and 11 kW)
  • All agricultural machinery
  • Non-exceptional work machines
  • Motor quadricycles

B licence test

If you already hold an A licence, you only take the practical test. We prepare you for the theory test with our learning technology.

B96 extension — Light trailer

This B extension requires a practical test. It lets you drive cars with a trailer over 750 kg, with a maximum total mass of 4250 kg. Obtain it with your B licence with no extra enrolment or fees.

BE licence — Heavy trailer

BE can be obtained from age 18 with a B licence. It covers vehicle combinations over 4250 kg and up to 7000 kg for no more than 8 passengers besides the driver. A practical test is required.

BS licence — Special vehicles

The BS or special licence covers cars adapted for disability. It requires theory and practical tests. Practical training uses the new automatic Toyota Yaris Hybrid with the necessary adaptations.
